Awaiting new 2.8

Are you not tempted to go to the dealer and go grab a look at it if you can? Check the paintwork for swirls by the way....new car prep is not what it's always cracked out to be!!

I won't be around until Sunday evening so let the tension build! I will check the polishing, thanks for the advise.

I've just got the 28i last week. It's a fab car, I know it don't sound like the six pots but the 4 does sound nice in its own right. Only £180 road tax is a bonus. More money for Sunday afternoon drives. :driving:

Makes me laugh when someone spends over 25 grand on a car and comments on basically saving 7 quid a month on car tax :D

Sorry mat I forgot the six pot is only a little bit more road tax, I've been used to paying £480 a year road tax and I pay enough tax's as it is. Plus previous car would only do 22-24 mpg on super unleaded. :driving:

Not Coopers, we are the other side of Norfolk, Listers in King's Lynn. Hopefully we will not have any issues. The last new car we had was a Landcruiser, fifteen years ago. Probably be a bit of a difference!!

Good luck mate, hope the weather is good for you there. Get the mrs to take her top off if the sun is shining 8)

First run out done, fantastic experience so far. We were made to feel very special at the dealer, Lister of King's Lynn. Unfortunately, it hasn't stopped raining yet which confirms the thing regarding "sun shining and the righteous" I will post some pictures when I master the system, could by before Christmas if I'm lucky!

Here it is, hopefully! http://s26.photobucket.com/user/Wheelbarrow10/media/imagejpg1_zps7984597b.jpg.html

well car tax is only a small part of cost of ownership - converting down to 28i from 335i saves me £4000 before tax.

even with the engine mods

the money i have saved as just paid for the holiday i am enjoying at the moment :D
