Avus Blue ..

The deep sea blue looks like that too if you use a filter! If the pictures were posted without being doctored I don't think you would be as impressed. In a showroom it would look ace, outside on a normal day the colour wouldn't look anything too special.
 
Well that's not to say it's not been loved. My dad had a 1995 5 series with little mileage which still looks and smells new because he looks after it. But it's clear from those pictures there is a blue filter applied as well as possibly some photo enhancement going on
