Avon ZZ3's?

I have them and they are good enough for the road.

Have a search... I started a thread about them. They're probably on par with Falkens (although I've never tried them).

Spend a little more and get Hankook V12's.

Already purchased after reading some reviews from other cars they were cheap bought some used 6mm fronts you see! So just purchased new rears!! Thanks I'm glad someone else has them on a z4

I've got them fitted to mine.I've had falkens and would say they are on a par but with a nicer looking tread pattern.
They are a bit marmite on this site and I know some members wouldn't touch them but personally I think they are fine.

Good to hear they're not utterly shite: I just bought a 2nd set of alloys for the wife's car and two of the tyres are Avon ZZ3s with a good 7mm of tread left. Probably won't go well with the ditch-finders on the other two wheels in the set...

ive got my falkens today because of reviews on this site , ive had avon zz3 s in the past but on front wheel drive cars with no problems , i prefere the rim protector on the avon s tbh

had them on my heavily modded 300+bhp audi tt and they were crap opted for pirelli p zero nero rosso,s i wouldnt recommend them to anyone but i suppose it depends on your driving style in the end , i think im right saying avon are now a sub of bridgestone which ive never liked anyway but each to their own its all opinions on here what suits one doesnt have to suit another so if your happy then its all good :D

AFAIK Avon are now owned by Cooper tyres which are American. I used to ran Avon ZV3s on my daily driver and now run Cooper Zeon XTC. Exactly the same tread, last longer than the avon whilst still managing to out handle them. Oh, and cheaper too.
