Has anyone had any experience with these tyres????

looking at 235/35/19 on the front and 255/35/19 on the rear.

Any help?

I had ZZ3's on an MX5. Great tyres with plenty of grip and long wearing. Pretty good rim protection too.

I'm not sure of the performance on a higher powered car but sure someone on here has tried them.

Never had a good experience with them myself, but other people seem to rate them. However for the price I've seen the Avons, you can usually get F1 Asymmetrics or Vredesteins.

However, I'd consider them a 'budget' performance tyre (despite being the premium 'performance' offering from most wheel companies when you want to upgrade from their ditchfinder 'performance' tyres), and go for Hankook/Falken/Kumho before trying an Avon road car tyre again (they do decent trackday, motorsport & motorcycle tyres though).

As I said in the other thread running about these tyres, I found them to be pretty reasonable on my old 225 TT. That said, I wouldn't use them on my ///M. Why don't you get the CSLs without tyres, and fit something you would actually chose to buy?

I did the first year in my Coupe on Avons, and I wasn't that impressed. As soon as I needed replacements I went with Vredestein and feel much happier with the grip levels and feedback.

Personally I'd opt for Falken FK452's over the Avons.

Been looking at full sets for CSLs myself too. Roughly costs fully fitted (Event-Tyres)

Falken FK452 - £750
Goodyear F1 Assy 2 - £950
Michelin Super Sports - £1250

Currently running the Assy F1's and they are very good.
