Avon ZZ3 - any opinions?

The reviews i've seen look pretty good. And the price is very good, £122 ea at Camskill! Thats for 265 30 19

Anyone tried them?
 
Yep had them on my summer wheels on the coupe which Tazx has now got. No complaints from me and the tread pattern looks pretty cool aswell :thumbsup:
 
Not on the Z, but running them in 20" variant on my XF. Very pleased with them. Manage to keep near 300hp and 600nm rwd on the road and as a bonus to echo what JDM says cool tread pattern.
 
These are £134 at tyremen.co.uk ... But if you tell them that you're from the forum you may find that they knock a few quid off the camskills price. If these are rated I may look into them in a month or two as they're a decent amount cheaper than the Vreds I was looking at :thumbsup:
 
Cant comment on the ZZ3, but I have ZZ5s, which I understand are replacing the outgoing ZZ3s (could be wrong on this though). Very good grip dry and wet :)
 
Always had them on my TT and they were great, wet or dry :thumbsup:

Unlike the TT, which was utter sH1TE
 
Had a set on my first e34 M5 when I bought it, but didn't get on with them. However, that could simply have been down to me being inexperienced in a powerful RWD car, or that the tyres weren't exactly new, rather than a fault of the tyre.
 
Got these on the rear of mine.
Can't really comment compared to anything else as they were brand new on when I bought it.
But would defo say be careful at first. Have done about 500 miles on them now and they seem to be getting much better, but were fairly slidy at first.
