Avon Tuning??

Has anybody used Avon Tuning for engine performance upgrades?

I'm considering having mine, 2010 2.3i, done & Avon seem to provide the best Stage 1 upgrade.
204 - 225BHP
250 - 265NM

Your thoughts please & advice to whether it is worth carrying out. Also as to how much these upgrades cost.

Not a expert on these things and guessing this is just a re-map but I'd be surprised if you can gain 21bhp on a non turbo engine ! Save your money and buy a 35i or 35is :)
 
Had my 23i mapped by celtic tuning in devon.
I have 219 BHP, you will not get any more.
it does however change the power delivery curve and despite the small BHP increase the car is certainly faster, more flexible and great to drive. My exhaust note has also changed, it sounds great.
The 23i is a great engine, its simple, indirect injection, no turbos etc etc and still a 6 sec (ish) 0-60...
Mine has done 82k, i still get 39mpg on a run and between 25-29 round town, apart from a slightly 'tappy' lifter for a few mins while cold it runs beautifully.
