Just a quick heads up for those who trawl Ebay looking for Z4 parts or any vehicle part.
I bought this rear view mirror http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181902211034?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
to find it's never been an auto dimming/auto dipping one that this seller listed it as.
Once I advised them that it was not as per the listing, they requested pics showing that it was incorrect. I supplied them with pics showing my mirror glass with the circuit board on the back and theirs with no circuit board, these were supplied 3 times as they kept saying they had not been rec'd.
Raised a claim via Ebay after I sent it back to them, they rec'd it back today, completely intact, exactly the same way that I rec'd it but have refused a refund as I unclipped the mirror case to take pics of the differences in mirror glass'.
Unfortunately, their listing says no refund if parts dismantled but they would not refund/accept the mirror back without pics showing that it was incorrect.
Hopefully Ebay will side with me as it was listed incorrectly and the fact that the mirror case is not a sealed unit and needed unclipping to prove that they were selling goods that were not as described.
I may have to lose out on £26.99 plus the £4.40 it cost me to return it but I'll not be caught out again and I'd hate for fellow forum members to be 'had' by these guys to.
