Approved Repairer totally ruined my 2002 Alfa Spider after a low speed curbing on the front suspension. Also came back with lots of excess mileage.
Gave it back to me with the steering column unattached to the chassis, according to the specialist I had to give it to afterwards. They also oversprayed the bonnet 6 times to cover a scratch.
Car was sold on immediately and got damages from the insurers.

Does this have any bearing on your insurance quotes ? If so do you know why ?
Not sure as I do not have access to the insurance ratings - but there is some post code related thing as I get a lot of specific targeted mail as well.
My insurance went down significantly when I moved here 11 years ago, even though the first 4 characters of the post code staid the same.
