on the way down to the bridge?.... tossers. that used to get me well pissed off too. your on your way home and some nobba is up your chuff hasstling you and then slows down through the speedtrap. its always fun egging boyracers on tho.

Both ways, but more often at the one going towards the bridge than away. They must be seeing the camera, hurriedly looking for the speed limit and then seeing the 50mph one about 200 yards ahead and slamming on thinking it's already a 50mph limit

thank god i dont drive that way anymore. that speed trap and people going thorugh the mersey wave at speke still doing 40 were well annoying.

You also see them shoot off from the lights before the Ford factory (in the 40mph), and they'll sit at 50mph in the outside lane, then get to the next set of lights where it changes to a NSL and still sit at 50mph. Another burst of the loud pedal and they're gone though

I have 05 2.0l, do a daily 90 mile round trip most on A roads and motorway, (although motorway is m25!).

Average speed is circa 45mph, average fuel consumption is 39 on the trip comp but 40 when i manually calculate.

Think the fuel is pretty good considering sporty nature of the car...
