average sleep

7-8 generally ideal...but have made it on 3-4 which is not ideal. I'm not very good at sleeping beyond 8 hours and sometimes crave a lie in, just never happens as I just can't sleep that much.

I'm never in bed before 1.00am if I'm working the next day and up at 6.30am.
If I'm not working the next day i'm often up until 4 or 5am and sleep in until 10-11.

I generally go to bed between 10.30-11pm and wake up every morning around 6, I would love a lie in but can't nod back off even at the weekend :(

you just described me :o

Doesn't matter what time I wake up, I can never get back to sleep as I get hungry and have to have breakfast. Weird. The only time I ever lie in is if I get really, really pi$$ed the night before - and even then hardly ever.

I fly every week for work. On the flight day i get 4 hours sleep, otherwise is 5-6 hours sleep.

On weekends i just wake up the same time as i do during the week... Which can be very annoying especially if i go to bed in the early hours... Means i sometimes only have a couple hours sleep.

around 9hrs most nights...... training is very heavy by 7pm i can hardly keep my eyes open..... i train 5 mornings a week for 1.5-2hrs from 6 am. without lots of sleep and protein i simply cant function, usually in bed by 9.30 most nights unless the baby keeps me up...

4-5 hours on weekdays, 7 hours at weekends. As I get older, I need less time as I simply regret the time I spend "offline".

erm depends but usually 5-6 as i have to wake to catch end of trading in the far east....on a sunday however thats a different matter.....12!

5-6 here,i start at 6am and finish at 6.30pm but like to go to bed late so that its not all work and sleep

Between 2 and 6 hours a night. Only time I've slept more has been as a teenager/student.

Usually 5h, sometimes 6h if I really try hard to go to bed at a sensible time.
When I'm on call I usually get between 0 and 4 hours sleep - I'm on call once a week and one in 8 weekends. My on calls are for 24h from 0800h one day through to 0800h the following morning, and I continue with my normal work day duties too, which means I can work for 36 hours continuously when it's really busy. A trauma-heavy weekend can see me getting 6-8 hours sleep between starting work at 0800h on Saturday and leaving work around 1800h on the Monday evening.
At weekends I like to sleep. I also like beer. I find the latter staves off the former at night whilst the hangover facilitates it in abundance in the morning :P

I get between 6 and 8 usually. Sometimes I only get 4 and those days I try and sneak off for a siesta.

If I miss a lot of sleep in the week, I have 10-12 hours each day at the weekend to catch back up :D
