Weekend toy within 3 years of ownership I've done 2500ish miles

54 3.0i SE with 26307 on the clock!

Worse than me :poke:

worse than me too, I did a trip around Europe in mine 1 year, that particular year I did an additional 3500 miles which obviously effects the figures

Nearly on my anniversary of MC ownership - 2weeks to go - and I think I'll be bang on the insurance limited mileage of 6k per annum. Only car so no real choice although as mentioned above, I'm cycling to work where possible and pretty much never drive to work (bus when it's chucking it down). My probelm is seeing the folks - it's a minimum 500 miles round trip (and far too many 50 average speed miles!). :driving:
Stevo

2003 3.0i auto 4k miles per year average but rising ATM. :driving:

I think I am up to about 58k miles in total now.

///MR, done 30k, in 4 years, all for fun. :driving: :D

Does more miles per anum, than my daily. :o :P

(That's an impressive total mmm-five)

We've put 12.000 enjoyable miles on our Zed in a year - not our DD we have our family diesel workhorse estate for that.

:driving:

Mmm-five that's really impressive! Commendable to be using the car as a daily, and certainly what I'd do if I found myself in a position to own an M.

I'm quite surprised by how many people don't drive their Zeds daily to be honest. I'd always want to run my 'fun car' as the daily too, as it's inevitable that in driving in all conditions and putting miles on the car that one finds out the less obvious handling characteristics, and can generally drive the car with more confidence...

I live a quarter mile from work, so never drive to work; and 1.5 miles from the local supermarket, so tend to walk their too when the weather allows.
Annual mileage between 2500-3000.

I've had mine since April '14, and had done just shy of 11k on 19th December.

Annoyingly on 19th December I had a serious climbing accident and knackered my left leg so won't now be able to drive for 6months. I spose I was probably on for around 15k annual mileage though?

The mileage was commuting and fun miles, but given my commute is down one of the best driving roads in the South, I don't really think any of it counts as commuting! I've adored driving every single mile and can't wait to get back in it!

Happy new year Ed. Sorry to hear about your accident. I'll get my diary sorted out and pop over to see you for our detail day as you can't drive. At least you won't be scratching the z4mc itch and save loads of money! Regards. Andy. :poke:

Mines a weekend toy but has dropped to 2-3k a year since shooting motorsport most weekends I tend to drive to the circuit and back unlike the days when I would go out for a 5 hour drive just for the fun of it I have lost the craving for going for a blast every weekend not sure if its all the cameras around or just an age thing will be visiting some new tracks this season so that should put some miles on the clock

Had mine sine July 14 done 7k already :/

Used as a Daily and way more than I should on the side. Loving it too much maybe? ^^

Daily driver and hope to get out in it a bit more this summer. Between 7000 and 8000 per year.

10k+ as daily driver.

Doing 500~ miles a week at present but this engagement is due to end January 31st.

Mileage depends on where I am working.

It's impressive until you see the bills.

Mine's also coming to an age/mileage where everything needs replacing - along with the regular, 6 month services/inspections. The next bills waiting to bite me will be my suspension refresh (probably KW Clubsports) and then clutch/flywheel, and Alcon front calipers. Whilst they're all nice to have items, they're only getting upgraded when they've reached the end of their life anyway - so I'll be offsetting some of my upgrade costs as I won't be having to buy BMW parts. Will still be a couple of month's pay though.
