There's nothing wrong being a geriatric creaking out of a sporty little car - but I've had a few "look at that old fart" looks at times.
It's even worse when it's in a blue badge area !
In the UK it's normally ignored but in Germany I've been questioned re my eligibility to use the bay by passers by.
I'm wondering what happens to the insurance at 70 - I've heard they load it like you are a young pup again

I haven't found any difference since turning 70, my biggest insurance portion comes from the loading they impose on my 42 y.o. son as a named driver, he is involved in the golf industry and for some reason is seen as high risk.
My son got his 3.0se for his 21st birthday present (a bit of money from mum and dad) his first years insurance was less than £700 which I thought was really good he has had it 2 years now and it's now around the £500 mark, but after a year of him having got his my wife said to me you really like that car don't you and I suppose you want one as well, my answer was yes but I need to go one better and need an ///M to which to which she ok AND she treated me (I'm serious) she bought me my dream car and I'm now 52 but getting in behind the wheel makes me feel a lot younger again 
42 here but still think I'm in my 20s :trampoline:
I'm 50 this July, still think I look like I did when I was 20, I'm in denial :lol:

He's a good lad, don't drink, don't smoke, but loves nice cars and for some stupid reason very captain sensible with it as well, I let him drive my ///M which he now thinks I'm leaving to him in my will
I am 27 the z4 is my first sports car. Had some crap motors before this then got married and thought I had to have something to cheer me up
