Average age of zed pilots

Had my first car ( minivan ) when I was 18 - first vert ( MG ) at 21 - got my current zed a couple of years ago - I'm 66

Bought my Z4 at 23, just before my 24th birthday. 27 now. Still love it.

Quite a lot of Z4 owners i've seen on the road appear to be coffin dodgers. They must be having an end of life crisis.

Bought my 3l coupe just after my 23rd birthday, then bought M coupe just after my 24th ... Then i sold the 3l about a month ago

I'm 28, had the Zed nearly 2 years now, I was reading this thinking how lucky you must be to have a Zed at 21 but then I remembered I had my MK1 Audi TT 225 convertible when I was 21 so I guess I can't complain

Well if your an old fart at 52, shudder to think what that makes me at 56

Blue Calipers and same year of Birth.......we're connected Swiftly. :)
Or are you a child of '59?

The youth of today earn too much :D

When I was 21/22 I was driving around in a 1.3 Nova SR.

Tony who bought my Coupe was only 21 and his insurance was less than a grand :o

Good on you ekimj10. I'm 63 now but my brain still thinks I'm 19, until my body steps in sometimes and reminds it that I'm not . Believe me all you youngsters, age just comes along so quickly but accepting/ignoring it is all a state of mind. I still play in bands, lots of gigs in Germany, and I am off to Las Vegas later this year to do some gigs with pals that I played with at the age of 15. I've had sports cars from the age of 17 when I bought a frog eye sprite. Went on to own a triumph GT6, 70's boat tail Alfa spider, an Austin Healey 3000 and several others. I still absolutely love driving my Z4, as much as any car I have ever owned. Life shouldn't get boring just because you get older. I just keep reminding myself that getting old is much better than the alternative---Dying

Was 20 when I got the Coupe, best decision yet! 10 months down the line and still makes me grin everyday
