You're past it....sell up and get a Nissan Micra. :D[/quote]
Nissan Micra Whats that, you obviously have some knowledge of driving a fart box.

My late wife had two Micras in succession and commuted along the M8 at rush hour until one day I had to go to Glasgow around the same time and experienced what she drove through on a daily basis. I very soon persuaded her to get something more substantial that would be less easy to bully.

Mind you, the Micra was a wonderful car, a wheel at each corner, a simple one litre engine and nothing to go wrong. However it had no road presence and all the crash protection of a corn flakes packet.

Anyway, what's all this ageist stuff on here? Saga kicks in at fifty but at almost sixty five (get me pension in July, he he) I am not old. You young guys in your fifties should be glad of your youth. I suppose I could spend the old age pension on a new Z. What would Mr Osborne think of that, I wonder?
:driving:

Another old git, 65 and on my second zed. Insurance through BMW at £350.

Retired, play in a gigging rock band, I could give some of you youngsters a run for your money!

I just turned 31 - finding out that I'm now in the "31-39" bracket is a really depressing start to the week!

Insurance was ~£900, but that's with 0 NCB and on-street parking in a red hot post code.

21 here, was 20 when I bought the Z. Insurance is about £1450 with 2 years NCB.

24 here, owned quick cars since I was 20. My insurance for myself and the other half (age 21) costs £590 fully comp.

22 when i bought it, now 23 paying £600 with mods declared fully comp.

Who with?

With Admiral, 5years NC. I've been with them from day 1. Had around 16 cars most with mods, they always come up best and i seem to haggle them down even though thier the cheapest anyway. Had 3 points to put on last time i insured so they put it up £680 then i said can't you do it any cheaper which she replied 'I'm sure we can sort something out for you' so they knocked it down to £605. If you don't ask you don't get. I still get annoyed with my parents who just go with the renewal price instead of shopping around and saving a few hundred!!

I'm 24, had my E89 since i was 23 :) think i'm the youngest (and sexiest) 89 owner on the forum :poke:

Someone once told me you are as old as the woman you feel, so I now live with an 18 year old girl and look 21 again
