Does anybody else automatically create a preconceived image in their minds eye of what they think other forum members look like purely based on their username or avatar? :?

Mr Tidy for example, I don't even have an avatar to go off yet for some reason I see a beard !!

I'll let you know on that one come Wednesday as I'm meeting him. I reckon if he does have one it's pretty neatly trimmed for some reason...

I don't necessarily look like a hand either (I hope!) but still something in a name or an avatar still gives off a vibe that I inexplicably judge rightly or wrongly who the person on the other side is or what they look like... :?

It's then afterwards that you meet them and think "hmmm.... you're not at all what I pictured" :lol:
