Hi. I'm trying to put my pic. via UCP and each time I try it max file size 11 kb. All my pics seem to be 1-3 MB. I have tried it with photo bucket but no joy. I see someone else asked the question in 2009 but received no reply.

Hi Bill,

Welcome aboard. You need to resize the picture down to 120 x 120 pixels (maximum), then save it as a GIF file format - that should do it. If you still need to reduce the file size, any decent graphics app will have options to reduce the number of colours in the GIF palette, thus taking the file size down even more.

It might also be worth applying a bit of sharpening to the image before reducing in size... often looks better that way. :thumbsup:
