Thanks from me too Fred - and likewise, it was great to meet everyone.
I had a fantastic drive to Wales afterwards. The A4059 Mountain Road through the Brecon Beacons was even better than it was last September. Very little traffiic - but lots of kamikaze sheep and also some cattle and horses this time! As an added bonus, for about 10-15 miles of it I had two G29s behind me - until I lost them...
Having blown the cobwebs off the Z4 on that road, I later took the Elan Valley Trail route at a more sedate pace - absolutely stunning scenery, and even more sheep!
I'm now sitting inside the bar of the Red Lion hotel in Ystrad Meurig with a nice cold beer - I've had enough sunshine and heat today, and realise now that maybe a black baseball cap wasn't such a good choice!
Sounds like a nice road trip Alan, and a good hearty breakfast set you up for the day.
Fran had the right Idea, a nice flowery number in the head gear dept.
I gave AV8 a bit of a slating on a review site, for not replying to questions. They responded to that!!
They say Covid restrictions, funny how plenty of other places are open??
Maybe next time, if they are open, we will try AV8 again. Just not in my name though
Great to get out on such a beautiful day & actually meet people. Had a lovely run to Cirencester but was blighted by caravans on the way home.
Thanks for organizing again Fred & Diane, would be good if AV8 did open up again.
