'av' channel

Hey guys,

wonder if anyone can confirm. I have the satnav in my car and in the tv tuner it flicks through to 'av'

I was told / have read that the av channel only appears if an av aux cable/loom is installed but not found one so far - I'm just trying to identify if there is actually an av cable installed being I have the channel, or if it's available regardless before I go digging further?

Ah cheers I was more wanting to confirm that the channel is only available after you add the cable?

Just trying to check if it already has it being i have the channel :)
 
The display will show AV channel the same way your home TV will show al your input sources but you still need to add the AV cable to then be able to use the AV input for say a digital TV tuner as analogue TV is no longer broadcasting in the UK.

To 100% confirm if you have the cable, take a look at your TV tuner in the boot and see if a cable like the one shown in the link above has been added giving you RCA input feeds. If not and you want to use the AV input, you will need to add the cable to the tuner which is just plug and play.
