Auxiliary port

Hi
I cannot get my auxiliary port under the heating controls, etc to play my music off my iPhone.
Is there a setting on the radio/CD player I need to choose, or is it more likely the port is damaged?
Any thoughts out there?

Hi mate, on mine I have to change the setting on the radio, it go's radio/cd/usb/aux or summint like that from the function button
 
Hi,
I've tried the Aux setting on the radio/CD, but no luck.
It's a 57 Sport with the factory CD player if that helps anyone?
There are 5 Aux options, but none work.
