E85/E86 native bluetooth is VERY basic, you cannot even stream audio over it. You need to fit something like an Audiovox Mediabridge to be able to control the iPhone. If you are saving the pennies look for an older Dice version, they are hardware compatible and you can upgrade the firmware to the latest rev . I use mine with an iPhone 6s and apart from a couple of mildly annoying bugs (you can work around these) its really good.
