Aux mod without vent removal?-

Hi all-ive read its been done somewhere,is it a pita to do and do you need fingers like E.T?-its on my list of jobs to do thats all

Why are you worried about removing the vents? It's actually the easiest part when you know how.

Andy - I installed AUX last weekend. IMO only possible with vent removal.

Andy i didnt bother with the vents just removed the plastic trim that people normally fit the aux too and basically fed the aux into the back of the radio! Being honest took me around a hour to get it in the hole but got there in the end! Copied this method from someone on here cant recall whom! Goodluck mate

I really can't stress enough how easy removing the vents is when you know how, 30 seconds tops and you'll kick yourself for even thinking about messing around twisting your arm into the lower panel.

If your local to the Birmingham area I'd do it for you, 5 minute job

Andy at least give the vents a go, it will be much easier than trying to find and plug in the aux connector from the panel under the AC controls.

if your car has bluetooth (and possibly other things) you will have to merge the two plugs together.... wouldn't like to attempt that without taking the vents out first...
