aux ipod connection

hi guys
I have just bought the aux cable to connect my ipod to the radio in my z4.
I need to know when connected can i control the ipod from the radio dash and if so is it possible to connect the ipod in the center console that houses the cd changer(which i dont have) and keep it hidden away and then control it from the radio.
Also if this is possible can i get power to the ipod in there.

You need an Intravee II for all that. I have one, and it charges, MFSW changes track etc.

Aux is just like headphones, so will only play music you pick on the ipod/iphone.
