Aux installation - confused yellow wires?

Hi guys,

Quick question, after a couple of hours of removing the vents (!) I have got the head unit out.

I bought one of the pre made aux cable and I had to remove a cable connector in order to fit it, the connector i removed had 2 wires in (yellow/red and yellow/brown i think!). Can these wires stay out? I have tested the aux connection and it works fine but surly the other cables must have a use?

I have professional sat nav and bluetooth.

weird, i had no spare slots?! and it works?

it was the bottom right plug (if your looking from the back of the unit) i removed.
 
could very well be, have had chance to test it all yet but ill check BT first thing tomorrow!

I guess if it is ill have to bodge the pins out somehow? (there is room for them, the aux cable uses different pins)

ahhh now I know it could be the bluetooth and re-searched, this has helped...
