Aux input with a CD changer

my mate has a cd changer in his z4, after seeing my aux in and me telling him how easy it is to fit i then got thinking can you fit an aux and a cd changer?

I know i'm going to end up doing it for him so has anyone got this setup? I seem to remember some talk of have to pull apart plugs but can find a conclusive answer.

any help, much appreciated :D

I did mine and has a cd changer. Was same procedure very straightforward. Just plug in back of stereo and bob' s your aunty did not need to do anything else :D
 
hi

i have used the aux with my carver system and kept the cd changer. not sure if its the carver system but i had a spare socket in the back and simply plugged the aux lead into that.. everything works perfect...
 
a resounding yes!

I had to merge two plugs on mine but that seems to be because of the bluetooth not the changer.

I assumed it was when I did mine but others with the changer and no bluetooth didnt have to merge any plugs.

either way it is an easy thing to do :thumbsup:
