How do you have this plugged into the aux? Have you moved the socket from the standard place or managed to hide the cables somehow?

I'm running an airport express with a USB powered DAC (Fiio D3), as the one on board the express is a bit pants. To solve the grounding issue I'm using a Kensington ground loop isolator jack cable. Where can I get one of those cables to hook it up to the fuse box? At the moment I'm running it off the cig lighter which is less than ideal for full stealth.

Using these (plus the earth connection I added) I have no grounding issue.

I fitted the Aux as a male ended cable, rather than the female connection some have added below the heater controls. This means I can simply run the aux cable into the glovebox as shown in my pic above,

No problem. Dash cam?

Think I'll be adding one soon, also adding one in the house to watch the driveway. Cheaper and easier than CCTV!

I've followed this topic closely as I've been keen to do something similar. I have done more or less exactly the same install, to find a ground I followed what was done in this post http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=995.

In the end I went for a different bluetooth receiver, HomeSpot from here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009OBCAW2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

I also opted for a noise reducing cable just to be on the safe side http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0037NYYFY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

I have to say the quality is great and it auto-connects when I get in the car. It all plays nicely with the cars bluetooth so I can still make and receive calls.
