AUX cable, what do I remove?

I've got a new AUX cable, and it's replacing an old one. I installed the old one into the LEFT clip (white), but I'm being told to use the RIGHT clip (black). (sides are if you were looking at back of stereo, not the front of clips)

I was under the impression the AUX cable 'replaces' the CD changer, so has to be white.

Is this correct? If so, what is the black one for?

What clip do I put the AUX into? (and if anyone knows what way the white cables go in?!)

Hi there,

I've had this same issue, and solved it this weekend.

The red and white leads go into pins three and four (these are left and right audio) and the black goes into pin 10 (this is for the ground). They all go into the right hand side, named section C.

This diagram might be able to help: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=z4+radio+pins&client=safari&hl=en&biw=320&bih=460&prmd=isvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi77YX949nJAhXLvBoKHf2RAsA4ChD8BQgEKAE#imgrc=nD5jpirRHcbJjM%3A
