Hi all,
I purchased a genuine BMW aux cable and panel a few weeks back (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=96150&p=1412532&hilit=genuine+aux+in#p1412532).
I fitted this tonight but the aux option is still not available on the head unit. I've been through a few threads to see if I could find a suitable answer, but they're all relating to cheap aftermarket cables that require modifying to get them to work (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=66819), however I wouldn't expect this to be the case with a genuine one.
I have had a cheap cable working before, but I bought this instead as the sound quality was poor from the cheap cable. I fitted that previous one myself so I know it's fitted correctly.
Any suggestions of what I could try? I believe it should just be plug and play?
