Autumn/Winter 2012 image thread

This was a couple of years ago in Malvern during the big freeze! Looks nice but hope we don't get this again for a while! I couldn't get the Z4 off the drive that winter!!

I was glad I had the old Diahatsu Terrios 4X4!!

Pics taken with a Nikon D90

Good thread Tom (great pics Breaker)
This is a good idea as we only ever get to see car pics usually. We should have a thread where we can show off other good photos whatever they are of (steady, keep it clean!) maybe categories or just a general great pics thread?

Seen as tho were going back a bit... Most have probably seen these but..

Kirkston Pass road was closed but decided it was a good idea to take the Z4M up there.... :? In hindsight possibly not the best idea. Feb 2012

Another Pass shot. Road was closed again... Not sure why I decide to do these things... this was a courtacy car from BMW as my caliper was being swapped. December 2011

Definitely agree we have a lot of talented photographers here! Shame not to show them off :)

Went for a walk in the the local park Sunday and took the camera.

Nikon D90 - 70-200mm lens - SB600 flashgun. Shot in RAW, processed in Lightroom 4.

Taken last Autumn I admit, but it's much the same this year :) Horsford Woods a couple of miles down the road and a favourite dog walking venue - she loves chasing evil squirrels.

Taken with a 5DmkII and a Canon 24-105 L series.

Great pics. 8)

Breaker, like those pics

Is that full of flowing water in the summer ?

Thanks for the comment. :)

Yes. The curved tube is a huge shower and the other sections spray water up.

I pass this while cycling to work in the morning and in the summer I keep meaning to get a shot of it with the water running. They test run it early morning sometimes when no one is using it.

tomscott, hey Tom, looking for a new camera, and currently on holiday in Dubai, so prices are quite good. Is the Sony camera you have a good one? Better than the Canon EOS M? Anything else in the same price range?
