Hi guys, was just wondering if anyone knew when Autotrader updated? is it whenever someone puts a car on there or is it like once a week or something? If so what day...?

Ive been looking at the dam same Z4's now for over a week and want more choice lol!
I know one thing though, if only i could afford another 5k, id have the 3.2 M Roadster on there atm in red... :D

Be interested to know how bad the front end damage was on that red one, been looking tonight funnily enough. It wasn't fixed by BMW by the sounds of it, and it's in Belfast, so not straight forward.

I ment this one  http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201042371081491/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/price-to/20000/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/maximum-mileage/up_to_40000_miles/body-type/convertible/maximum-age/up_to_4_years_old/transmission/manual/model/z4/make/bmw/page/2/radius/1500/postcode/pe302ln?logcode=p

Online-only ads (which I suspect most are these days) go on after a day or so of someone putting it on, so you'll find it gets updated all the time, so you'll just have to keep watching.

Was told that that was in a piss poor state when it was bought in. To the point that the owner of the garage was pissed off, presume it was a p/x on something else.

When I sold my A4 Cabriolet in January this year I used Autotrader, the advert was published as soon as I had finished. I presume that it is checked post publish, presumably during the next working day.

i often wonder if anybody buys autotrader now that it is so easy to have on net

Thought you meant this one.. The fact you said Roadster really should have been a clue

online ads go live within minutes of them being placed

so if there are not many new ones over the week, it would mean that no one else wants to sell at the moment...... i would expect a few more to come up for sale after xmas when pockets are really empty

Nice to know Hark :o

Thanks for the replies though, ill keep looking then... ill be buying in Feb though so hopefully the prices will still be at winter costs... ie, lower :P

2006+ 3.0si Sport 13k is my price range really, could push 13.5k but wouldnt want to

I want the newer engine from 2006 onwards really :)

Ive just been out test driving a brand new z4 3.0, and fookin loved the performance :D
Im just hoping that the older Z4 3.0 will perform as good tbh... Ive never driven another Z4 so wouldnt know...

Must admit with the newer ones you do get a lot more bits that most retrofit anyway :P Not sure about the N52 over the M54 engine though, but in principle they do sound better
