i normally go to this show and every year its getting a touch more expensive and every year i say to myself this isnt worth the cost really..... at 32 quid am i being a cheap ass or does anyone else feel like its not really worth the money..... hell i remember the days when i used to pay 15 quid for ticket AND train ticket deal in one..... by the time ive parked, and got food we're talking a 65 quid day easily, take the GF with you and we talking over 100 bags easily ......

maybe ive just turned into a cheapass but this seems way to much imo!!

I used to love going but I have always thought it as being pricey & then they screw you again with the parking, its always a fantastic show though so it just depends whether you think its worth it or not, fact is I have always thought it has been a rip off.

when it was 15 quid i can honestly say it didn't bother me......

take the female with me and she will KILL my wage on a day at the NEC on food alone, i think you could quite easily spend 130quid for 2 of you... easily.

And that my friend, is the cost of a decent set of exhaust adjusters :D
I reckon ditch the idea and spend the money on fuel and a meal out instead :driving:

It's getting expensive but also the show is getting smaller. There seems to be more grass track and stock car racing stands than ever. Perhaps as everyone is tightening their belts these cheaper forms of motorsport are becoming more appealing

man time..... i always end up buy something i dont need!!

I get a free ticket offer due to being a BRSCC member, but this is the first year I'll not be going (and no, the ticket is not transferable).

Parking in the station car park is much cheaper than using the official car park though.
