I have a C310+ that seems to be a fake one - it wont let me do any software updates. It works just fine though! Are fake Autophix 5900's a thing? They are very reasonably priced on AliExpress hence my concern.

No idea, but I can vouch for the efficacy of the genuine 5900. Very useful

No, you need Scanner 1.4 for that.

Ah right okay, the latest update for the C310 is supposed to add that option although I’ve heard people say that even though its there it doesn’t work. That’s how I found out mine is fake as it won’t do let me do any updates.
