Automatic Air Conditioning Setting

I always use fully automatic (auto air distribution and airflow) in the Zed, but the internal temperature is not like what I really want, i.e. 20C, when outside temperature is 6C.

Does anyone also find fully automatic setting is not very effective in winter, and have to use manual air distribution and airflow? I don't think I had that in E85. :?

I use the auto as well but with the cold off but at the week end my wife did ask why there was no heat down on her feet. Cant say I have really noticed.

In AUTO mode the buttons that adjust the fan, actually control the intensity according to the manual. I think this is why only one of the 5 lights only ever lights up. When you turn AUTO off, then you can have all 5 fan speed lights on when the fan is at full speed. This puzzled me at first. :?

I never adjust the air distribution, but if its very cold outside, I'll put the temperature dials up a degree or two. In summer I usually have it around 18, but if its really hot outside I'll move it down to 17 or 16. I think at the moment they are around 20.5 I tend to keep the air con (cooling) on pretty much all the time though.

I have it set at level 2 (second from the left), I am going to try level 4/5 and see if it will improve the temperature. If I have air con on, the air is even cooler (I know the system should heat up the dried air to your desired temperature).

It is only 5C in the south.

I always set the controls so that more 'cold' air is sent to the windscreen and in that way the warmer air should go to your feet.
