autoglym

been using autoglym super resin polish, quick and easy, bit dusty and hides swirls quite well, tried their special one for dark colours, pretty rubbish i found it is really hard to get off again and no better at swirls, any good waxes you use ?

For quick slap dash waxing by hand, AG is a fine product.

For proper detailing, it is not rated that high but then again the price reflects that.

Swissol, Zaino, Menzerna are a few high quality products but you then move away from the "all in one" products.

If you want a good product to fill swirl marks try prima amigo a great product and wipes of with ease!! What was the name of the Autoglym product you used?

another here for the poorboys
also just to confirm the autoglym SR polish is removing not sealing . so best used early in the detailing process before the glaze or filler then also followed by a wax or sealer .
initially i also used the polish last until a kind forumite pointed out my faux pas :D paintwork now is 100% improved :driving:

oh yeah ! i can,t remember spending as much on detailing products with any previous car . i,m even particular about what tyre dressing i use
i justify it to mrs w as its my hobby & i would rather spend on my cars than on gym membership, golf club or saturday at the footy :driving:

Just bought the Poorboys black hole so let me get this right. I use the AG SRP first, then the Poorboys and then a sealer??????

Great - I have Poorboys sealer so I guess that will be fine then.......I also use the Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 every other wash - is this overkill?

overkill ?
nope . its perfectly standard Z behaviour
Thanks Mr Wilks - one final question - do indeed to do anything between each cycle I.e after the last application of V7 and before the next application of AG polish?

Dodo Juice Purple Rain for me. Easy application, little residue so easy to "wax off".

Very deep shine on dark colours, creates wonderful beading and is fairly long lasting.
