Is that the AG aerosol spray? Don't see why you couldn't use it on polished rims?

The one I have is an aerosol, but IMHO it's not all that good. I found it attracts dust. I'm now using collinite 845 insulator wax on the wheels, it lasts ages and makes cleaning really easy.
 
Any wax will help. Harder waxes should be better, as they will probably have a higher melting point. And brake dust tends to be nice and toasty 8)

Yes its the spray.... ill have a look for Collinite 845 insulator wax too

Thanks GP06 for the recommendation of the 845 insulator wax, this stuff is brilliant, I put the wax on my 313's before fitting them on the car, I've just wiped over the rims inside and out, all the dirt came off easily :thumbsup:

Collinite 845 insulator wax is the dogs nuts! ;)

No just like any other wax, obviously I waited until the surface was cool but pretty easy on/off the paintwork actually. Wheels take a bit of time as they have all the fiddly crevices but bodywork was ok.
