AUTODOC non return

I purchased a water pump and thermostat from AUTODOC which arrived after a couple of weeks, great but the thermostat was damaged I sent photos back and had a reply back after about 10 days asking for photos again! Note they have to be jpeg as normal photos aren’t supported. So I resent another wait they have now refunded me £8 it seems that is it. Fortunately I paid by PayPal so have raised the issue with them. I won’t be buying from AUTODOC again!
Anyone want a broken thermostat.

Did you pay the extra £3 that entitles you to return the items if they haven't been fitted?
 
That reminds me I have a n54 thermostat and water pump sat in my garage that I’ve had for the last month or so that I haven’t opened yet, note to self, check in the morning.
It looks to me like it’s only the electrical connection that’s broken so may still be ok to fit, but they really should have replaced it for you.
