...and I am stuck in a hotel room whilst my subscriber copy is lying on the floor next to the door - ah well never mind.

I did sneak a peak at it in Asda earlier though, 0-60 confirmed as 5.1 and 0-100 was 12.4 I think? 30-70 was 4.4 or 4.3 that's very fast. Never read anything else though.

Yep - just read it when I got home.

Basically, put it behind the boxtser but ahead of everything else (SLK, TT and the old 370Z). Timed it to 60 as fast as the Z4M Coupe, but slower to 100. Said that the chassis is good in there somewhere, but basically a bit hidden and is not as enjoyable as it should be when you're trying to push on.

They did say the interior is leagues ahead of all the competition.

The test car is almost perfect spec, apart from the gearbox (I'd want a manual)... £46,495 as tested!!!!!! Anyway, read for yourself:

Had a long test drive of the 35i at the weekend. Performance with the DCT gearbox was very good and the car felt well put together with no rattles or squeaks. The car felt more detached than my Z4M with less feel through the steering and brakes. More GT than roadster I guess. It didn't feel quite as manic or fast as the 'M' but maybe that was because it is a lot more refined. Have to say it aint cheap at £47K
