Auto Wipers?

Its standard in the uk on all 3.0 roadsters... Should should be on the coupe too.

You have a sensor behind your rear view mirror?

Do you not also get auto lights along with auto wipers? If the light switch can be moved to the left, to point at 11 o'clock then you have auto lights (and therefore wipers...?)
 
To turn on auto wipers move the right control stick up one click and turn the "wiper speed control" to the bottom (the wheel on the right stick). This is how I turn them on.

I think they were standard on all 3.0si Coupes, I have auto lights and wipers on mine as did all the others I viewed.

As an fyi they turn off each time you turn off the engine... So you need to pull them down and back up one click.... Something about car washes and not getting them damaged.

Great, thanks for all the replies! I'll have a play around with it at some point, I have auto lights - denoted by an 'a' on the switch, but the wipers dont show the same symbol.

Odd that they turn off each the engine is turned off - not very 'auto'!
 
Its almost an "auto" variable mode rateher than completely auto. But only had it for a couple of months now and love it, one of those niceaties!! :D
 
Also useful if your windscreen is frosty - stops them Having a sensing malfunction and tearing the wipers apart if they are stuck to the screen. I like them, and you get used to activating it. I just flick the sensitivity dial down and back up again - simples :thumbsup:

My new learning for today... thought the sensor was on the way out & giving it a nudge was the only way to wake it up... silly me...
 
I'm not a big fan of them.

If there were one setting slower on the manual select then I would chose not to use auto at all

You can also use the selector on the stalk to control the sensitivity of them.

I find them ok... Sometimes on the motorway with spray they go a little mental and go high speed!
