Auto wipers wipe when they shouldn't

Just to keep this updated, it was the relay apparently, they are ordering it in and doing it tommorow. Not sure how a relay would affect auto wipers? But we will see I guess.

On a side not mentioned a speaker rattle and my boot gas struts being knackered and they are changing them too.

As i suspected still the same. Didn't think a relay would fix wipers wiping when they shouldn't. Bloody annoying. Will ring them back in the morning.

Rung BMW this morning and they are now saying I don't have auto wipers. I checked my options list and it has "rain sensor". Surely that means they are?

Any help would be great may try another dealer if someone can confirm "rain sensor" means I have auto wipers.

I think if you have rain sensor then you must have auto wiper !!!

I would get the car checked via coding to see if the rain sesor is turned off.

Ncsexpert code:

(rain sensor) SENSOR_REGEN aktiv

or SSSv32 need to tick option

The software is best on an XP laptop, it will run on windows 7 but not fully. DIS & SSS work within VMware so no issue but INPA works only on XP.

You will get 3 discs to install along with a 55 page instruction manual, good luck

I have installed the software and for retro coding in SSS you need to install changes.iso let me know when you have finished installing the software an i will send you a link to download the changes.iso files.
