Auto wipe stopped working

Starting to get pissed with the car now as I've just spent nearly a grand on fixing issues. Today the auto wipe option appears to have stopped it also does not stop when you come to rest at lights if you select the continuous mode. I recently had a coolant issue fixed so I don't see how the Indy could possibly influence my current issue so I don't think it's something done whilst in the workshop, so asking for your help.

I think the issue started last year around nov/dec on the intermittent wipe as I had to fiddle with the wheel on the stalk but not a complete failure like I have now. I have read some previous posts about bubbles in the adhesive pad so that's a route I can follow and I have the name of the supplier to get new pads but is there a reset procedure using the ignition key that I can try first??

All suggestions welcome just want a car without issues :( :( :(

Ok so update. I have removed fuse 28 which a 5amp fuse for the rain sensor and only the sensor, I now have normal intermittent wipers which to be honest is fine with me however, when it get warmer I might just tackle the fixing of a new sensor pad as if I remember correctly it may have some bubbles in it. Either way it works like 'ordinary' cars now but admit I do like my auto toys

If anyone foresees any issues with my fix let me know

You'll be able to see from outside if there are any major bubble issues. Been ages since I saw anyone post on this issue, but I think it's a simple fix with a new gel pad.
