Auto up Passenger side window regulator

I recently replaced my window regulator on the passenger side door.


Since I replaced it, the auto up does not function so you have to hold the button to get the window up. It does however go Auto down without a problem.

I have done the reset holding the button up and down when the window is in those positions and it hasn’t worked.

I can’t imagine it needs coding to sort this out.

Has anyone had the same issue when replacing the regulator. If so, what was the solution.

Possibly a dodgy motor, but it is also able to be coded. Many UK cars don’t have the passenger side up coded for some reason. Anyone with Scanner 1.4 can check it and potentially code it in a matter of seconds
 
So I went and got bmw scanner 1.4. and while trying to use it I get one of these two error messages and can't go any further. Any idea what is going wrong? Thanks in advance!

Well it’s saying it can’t talk to the immobiliser (EWS), or the Instrument cluster (IKE). I assume you have the ignition on?
Do you have another code reader that can see if there are any other issues? Specifically with any modules on the KBus?
Any warning lights on?
 
Hi. I have no warning lights on and the car runs fine. I'm no wiz when it comes to computers etc I thought I had done everything I was told to install it on the computer. The instructions were out of date for the web page and windows though. I did a bit of fiddling around and took these two pics hoping it may shed some light in the problem. I don't have another obd reader but I have used Carly in the past without a problem.

That’s odd? Can only see the DME?
Did you get the software on a usb stick?
If you message me with your email I can ‘wetransfer’ the whole lot over so you can start again and see if that works?
