Auto-up on passenger side window

i have an 03 3.0 and was wondering if it was possible to make the passenger window auto-up capable. currently only the drivers side does auto-up. passenger side is only auto-down.

was this an option on the 03's?
 
Had to get mine programmed by an independent - along with the remote roof operation.

so yeah should be possible though your dealer may deny all knowledge :lol:
 
I see you're in the US so it should be easy. Mine is an '07 coupe and both windows auto up and down.
 
so it needs to be programmed by the dealer?

no way of doing it yourself then?

i know on the audi a4's (b5 style) the wiring was there for auto-up on the rears and it just had to be connected. thought maybe id get lucky and it would be a similar setup.

it seemed like it could be like that because the button to put up the passenger side window, has that extra click for the auto-up.
 
Not sure it is an option on 03 and some early 04 plates, I seem to recall an earlier thread about this.

i think the thread you are referring to is about someones drivers side window which stopped doing the auto-up,

thats where i got the idea to post about the passenger side window lol
 
They don't auto-up by factory? I just assumed they were all auto-up. Learned something else today.
 
I had an 04 which didn't auto up on the passenger side. Dealer told me it wasn't poissible, which I always suspected to be untrue. My 07 does it.
 
I believe that all z's have this function. I have the same problem with the drivers window, it starter when i changed the mechanism.
 
In the later 2004 models I think it became possible, but the 03's do not have it. And the 03's cannot be programmed either, at least not by any of the methods I have found posted. I have tried 3 or 4 methods to no avail.
If it is possible on an '03, PLEASE let me know how.

No Rusty is right, there have beena few posts about auto up passanger side on early models
 
Mine is a March 2004 build and never used to do it and wasn't an option when the dealer printed a list of those available to be programmed.

The independent who programmed my remote roof managed to do it no problem though, so seems the same as the remote roof option - dealers don't seem able :idunno:

Mine was registered June 04, so I'm hoping it was built in the batch that has the features you have had enabled.

I'll have to start looking around for a good independent as they should be able to do my new key programming as well I am guessing, if they can do the other programming stuff :)
