Auto unlocking not working

Evening all.

I’ve got my Z setup with Carly so that when I pull away, the central locking locks the doors. This works ok. However, when I come to a stop, engine off and take the key out the ignition the doors at no point unlock themselves automatically. Not had this on a BMW before, usually take the key out and doors unlock. .

Anyone else experienced the same problem?
 
My 2nd E86 was programmed with autolock and did exactly the same. No unlock even with the key removed.

I found it really annoying, so when a forum member with Carly was good enough to do some coding for me I got autolock turned off!

It seems to be unique to the Z4 - Mrs Tidy's Mini R50 with autolock would unlock when the key was removed.
 
Yup, that sounds the same as my wife's too. And on hers, if you then open the drivers door, it doesn't unlock the passenger side either.
Bit of a faff for me, but she likes it as she says it gives her a tiny bit more security. I suppose it does mean no-one can get in once she stops?
