Auto start-stop on sDrive20i?

Can anyone tell me if the 20i has Auto start-stop as standard?

Different sources suggest different things:

The printed Z4 brochure provided by the garage says nothing about it and I can't see it mentioned in the options brochure either. There was also a magazine at the dealers called "The A-Z of BMW in 2012" which seemed to suggest that the 'Efficient Dynamics' technology on the Z4 includes auto start-stop.

Cheers,
Dave.

Yes it does , I think nearly all BMW have it standard as of late 2008

I may be wrong about that though. But z4 defo does

Looking at the links It's an option on the 20i with manual trans, but guessing in M Sport guise it's standard.

Jus checked your links can see it as optionally . I think it might be a delete option but I dont know how that would work tax wise

certainly was standard on mine, but it is an M Sport. A bit odd a first but works well enough

The sDrive20i we test drove had auto start-stop. It wasn't an M-Sport.

I'm used to it as our 2008 MINI had it too.

bmw.com is the international website. Maybe it is an option outside the UK???

Cheers guys, sounds likely that my car will have auto start-stop when it arrives in march then.
Just surprised this isn't mentioned anywhere in the brochures given out by the dealer (as far as I could see anyway).

It is hidden on page 23 of the current brochure. Maybe your dealer gave you the old 2010 brochure. On the current UK Z4, auto stop start is included with manual transmission sDrive20i and sDrive28i cars.

Ah, cheers for that. Turns out I'm just blind... It was there in front of me all along!
In fairness though, I expected to see it in the specs towards the rear of the brochure. Page 60, either the engine or technology sections.
