Auto shifter options

Are there any shifter options for the Auto? I scratched mine and would like to go aftermarket- are they a pain to remove?

It is possible to get carbon fibre in silver or black with the ///M logo on the top, and a few other styles - seen on eBay. They are pretty much OEM-style in shape though. Not seen any others, or technical enough to know what the requirements are for after market. Can't help with the removal question either...

To make up for my lack of help, couple here :

Obviously the new style ones won't work with e85/86 unless anyone knows different.

Be interested in the replies you get, as I have fancied changing mine for a while now, but not found anything I like...

Actually, the coating on my shifter had a nick in it that just got worse in time, so I started chipping away at it, and there is a wonderful looking chrome finish underneath- I got all of the top off, but as it starts getting to the front, the coating isn't coming off so easily. I've been using a credit card as well to chip at it.

I LOVE the look of this:

OK, I got all the coating off with a razorblade (carfully chipping away like scraping ice of a window). Looks really good, just like chrome. I still would like to have the black carbon fibre one, and I got mine off by just pulling real hard straight up towards the roof.
