Auto locking/unlocking

Just picked up a G29 2.0 Sport Auto and I thought in settings I could get the car to auto lock when I left the car and to auto unlock when I came up to it. I can't find anyway to do this. Am I right in thinking that this is not available on my model?
 
Have you got comfort access?
If you do then you can set that up without issue in the idrive settings.
If you don’t then it’s not an option for you. Sorry.
 
It has comfort access under settings but only allows me to unlock the drivers door or drivers and passenger door. I assume the comfort access comes in the comfort pack which I don't have.

Ok. That comfort access is it drops the window if you press unlock twice on remote and open the drivers door.

If you don’t have comfort pack then you don’t have keyless entry so alas you can’t have unlock on approach.
