Viewed one yesterday and have another to view at the weekend but would prefer a Forum car. So if anyone thinking of a change please get in touch.

or

E89 Auto Hard Top Convertible

Both of the later you won't get for £4.5k if thats the case
 
Hi All,

Im clearly not familiar with the ways of the Forum. Nothing cryptic intended. I am looking for a E85 Soft Top Auto with a hard top also included for £4,500. I have been using the good advice of the Forum to try and ensure I get the best car for me and my wife to use as a daily driver and you will see from the other thread that I have spotted one in Ashford in Surrey that I have not had the chance to go and see yet and one in Gravesend I have seen and that i have asked for some advice on. I also took the opportunity to visit a dealer to drive one which didnt have a hardtop but as I hadn't driven one before I wanted to check the car was right for me - which it most definitely is!

So explanation over any one who is reconsidering their car or looking for an upgrade please give me a shout.

You can pick up a hard top at 500-1000 sepately easy enough, if the perfect car comes along without top.
However the soft top is so good that it's fine to run all winter, thick and insulated, heated glass rear screen

This

You’ll stand more chance of finding a better car if you look for a separate hardtop. As also stated, not essential either as roof is insulated and can cope with winter weather without issue.
 
Thanks for the advice so I need to be looking at the £3,500-4,000 range without hardtop so probably higher mileage. Ok the search continues!
