Firstly I have an auto gear box, I don't know if this changes things.
Often I'll be cruising along and i'll put my foot down a little more to prepare for a hill. The revs don't climb at all and they then drop a little and what sounds like a misfire goes through the exhaust under the car (very low pitched air blow by the sound of it). I changed my spark plugs last week and i have also tried throttle body resets and it still happens. What else could it be? Could it be a dodgy coil pack? if so how do i diagnose? Any idea's anyone? I've had it for ages and it's really annoying! thanks
