Currently have a good deal on the B12 kit sat in my basket on the auto.doc app, but can’t make out if there’s any import duty or not when buying from them now?.... any ideas? :?

I just got stung for 60 import tax on a rear light coming from Latvia, so yeah be careful.

Ok, thanks, done a bit more searching and it looks like £490 for the B12 kit would jump up... bit naughty as the website is AUTODOC.co.uk. I do realise they’re in Germany having bought from them before

They do actually have a UK office, I had an issue with an EGR valve on an Alfa, never got delivered and called the UK number to get it resolved.

Try giving them a call and see what they say as they must get this question quite a bit now.

I have had parts from them (February). It was from Carpartsonline, but same company (parts were in Autodoc boxes). I didn't have to pay duty, but be prepared to wait. My brake parts took nearly 3 weeks to arrive.

I have used them around 2 weeks ago,no extra charges, didnt take too long to arrive around a week
I have just ordered rear bilstein b4 shockers and springs, its took them 5 days just to pick this order,so i suspect these may take longer than a week to arrive.

Used them a lot recently for break discs and calliper rebuild kit. Discs arrived after a week and a half with no import tax. Still waiting for my other parts.

Much the same as above really. No issues with import duty, but they do seem to take forever to pick it and dispatch.

It may be that because the transaction is completed via a UK site and VAT is applied, any import duty is sorted by the seller, don't know.

I noticed when tracking my order, the items were held at customs for days saying "awaiting customs clearance" or similar.
They have got a lot of very bad reviews but apart from the delays all my parts arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and with no errors. They have a massive choice; I think they stock 15 different air filters for the N20 alone, and prices are excellent.

The customs bit will be because of the same issue we have had at work exporting goods

If you send your goods on a lorry and you only have your goods on it the lorry, driver and goods only needs one set of paper work.

If you send your good on a lorry that has one pallet on it with your goods on it and all the other pallets have other people's goods on it possibly up to around 40 pallets with different peoples goods on all mixed types etc it will have to have a pile of paper work that all should be checked, this will take time and if one bit is wrong it stays put until it is sorted out.

I used them 3 weeks ago for a throttle body for a Mk4 Golf and it arrived 5 days later and no sign of any import charges.

I got my m3 arms from them in March and I did have my reservations having read mixed reviews. Have to say though they arrived very quickly without issue and with no import duty
