Auto Dipping Door Mirrors?

I tend to do it manually. It's a pain in the backside but saves the risk of kerb damage

Right read GM5 via NCSexpert had a quick go as most of the codes appear there but I didn't work. Will have another go tomorrow.

I'd expect there to be a requirement to retrofit a module. The S-Max has two additional modules, one in each door for this. They're linked to the seat/key memory. Press the seat memory button and the seat and door mirrors adjust, plus it remembers 4 different dip settings for each memory. Quite cool. The Golf was simpler, it just had the one position.

The simplest system would just need to pick up from the reverse light switch and upon that signal dip the mirror. Next level up is to use the mirr adjuster switch right/left to enable or disable it. BMW's have done this and variations for over a decade.

Adding keys, seat memory, etc. is one more step and to your point likely modules.
