Auto box service kit

Hi all.

My Z4 2.5i is need of gearbox oil and filter change. Called my local BMW stealership and they quoted £340 for 9 litres of oil and a replacement filter :O. I know ZF do filter and oil kit but I cant find someone who sells it online. Are there any other alternatives?

Just gave them a call and they quoted me a good price for the parts. Will probably buy from them.

I bought this kit a couple months ago for my 3.0 steptronic: http://extra-autoteile.de/teilesatz-oelwechsel-automatikgetriebe-8700-000-252?tid=16828 - this is the OEM ZF-kit which I think is probably the best you can get for your autobox.

Unfortunately they wouldn't send it to Denmark so I had it sent to the guy I bought my Z from in Germany. He then forwarded it to me 8)

Anyways - as you can see 340 quid is just way too much. And you only need 7 liters - not 9!

I bought the Meyle kit from AllGermancarparts. Top notch service as they included next day delivery. I am however amazed to see that the pan and oil filer are one whole plastic unit. Will be fitted in the coming weeks.

Hi. It was £136 for 7 litres of oil and the filter including delivery.
